My name’s Ray Kiser and just recently I’ve graduated here at UTB with a BAAS Degree in general studies. My areas of focus were: Management; Polysomnography Technology and HPRS.  It has become a desired goal of mine, to enter the Educational Technology industry in order that I may learn and then assist those individuals whom are not able to attend instructional courses on site.  My name is Aglhaen Nieto-Cruz.  I am an employee of the UTB/TSC Classic Upward Bound Program. The program is federally funded by the United States Department of Education and charged with providing the skills and motivation need to complete a post secondary degree to low income, 1^st generation college bound students.  I have worked for this program at UTB CAmpus for over 12 years.  I obtained my BA in Sociology in 1997 and am currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Technology.  I hope to graduate next summer. My husband and I have 4 1/2 year old twin boys. We enjoy painting, reading and being together.    

My name is William Edgerton, but most people call me Billy.  I am a Technology Applications teacher in Three Rivers, TX.  I graduated from UTPB with a Computer Science degree in 1999.  I want to achieve the Ed Tech Masters so I can become a technology director down the road.  I am also hoping to achieve my MTT while working on this program.

I am married but have no children, except my students.  But I do have a very spoiled cat who has been part of our family for all nine years that my wife and I have been married.

My name is Faustino Peña. I am a Senior Aviation Maintenance Technology instructor at Texas State Technical College in Harlingen. I am an FAA certificated Airframe and Powerplant mechanic and Instructor. I have been working here at TSTC since 2004. I plan on using the skills learned in this class and apply them to my own classes. I have been married for over 20 years and have 5 wonderful children. Three boys and two girls.

My name is Lynda Cannedy and I teach Office 07 applications (BCIS) and Accounting at Rider High School in Wichita Falls, TX.  I have worked as a CPA, a tennis teaching pro, and a full-time mom of three kids.  I started on my masters in Educ. Administration last summer but was lured by the creativity and excitement of Educational Technology.  This is my first online course and my first Ed Tech course so I may be asking you for help.  I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.  I hope to get an e-learning lab started at my high school or possibly at a small private school in WF.

My name is Leticia Cantu. I have been a Registered Nurse for 15 years and have worked as a school nurse for B.I.S.D. for 12 of those years. Prior to that I worked at Valley Regional in the Women's Center where I cared for labor/delivery & post partum patients. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing and hope to one day teach nursing students. I have been married for 17 years and have two children, Karissa 14 and Jimmy 13. Hello, my name is Claudia Salinas.  I have been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years.  I graduated with my Associate degree in Nursing in 1998 and my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2003.  I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education in Nursing.  My ultimate goal is to become a Nurse Practioner in the acute care setting.  I work in the Recovery Room at Brownsville Doctor's Hospital and I love what I do.  I am married and have 5 children(his, mine and ours); we are a blended Brady bunch family.  This is the first time I work with wiki and I hope to overcome the challenge!

My name is Steve DeWees. I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist and a Certified Asthma Educator. I am from Odessa originally, but have lived in the Dallas area (Plano) for almost 20 years. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from UT Tyler and hopefully if all goes well this will be my last semester. I am married to my wife Tina and we have four children. Two have left the nest for college and work and we have two teenage daughters at home.
