Sheri Higgs

The integration of technology into all areas of the student, faculty, and administration is essential in preparing our students to become successful and productive citizens of the future.  Students need to gain fundamental knowledge, techniques, and skills to ensure survival in a rapidly changing world. We will strive to provide the elements that will assure equitable and safe learning opportunities that will result in the student becoming technologically competent while continuing to develop and maintain computer literacy which will include thinking critically and logically, using problem solving skills, being creative, communicating effectively, mastering technical skills, and being able to find and navigate for information.  Students will acquire occupational and economic competence, which includes technological skills, allowing them to be successful in work and in the management of their personal affairs.

David Cantu

Our mission is to ensure that our faculty and staff have the competence, equipment and capacity needed to increase student learning.  Through continuous professional development our faculty and staff will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to innovate, engage, and motivate out students to learn and meet the challenges of a technological society.  Our students will not only meet these challenges, but they will also become lifelong learners with these new found skills.

Mayra N. Garcia

My mission is to assist teachers and administrators with student-centered technology integration through targeted professional development activities at the elementary level.  Technology integration activities would involve engagement of all students through the use and development of technological knowledge and skills, higher order thinking skills, and problem solving in every content area.

Juan M. Garcia

As Master Technology Teachers, we are facilitators, mentors, and guides in the effective use of Technology so that it can be integrated into the curriculum and gear classroom instruction to be student-centered, which allows our 21stCentury learners to compete in our global society.

Elizabeth Castillo

As an educator, I seek to promote the 21st century learner by providing opportunities for exploration and communication through effective technology usage so that our children are engaged with their education, in order to become creative, innovative, problem solvers who will be life long learners as well as active and contributing members of our community and global society.

Cynthia Balderas

Mission Statement

Our students and teachers will develop the necessary skills to utilize technology as a tool when creating, accessing, evaluating and communicating information. Students will use technology as a resource to achieve curriculum outcomes, to develop problem solving skills, and as a means for metacognition. Teachers will be provided the needed support when utilizing technology to create instructional materials, prepare and deliver lessons, and evaluate students. The end result will be info-savvy students that are equipped to compete in our rapid changing world.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to support and guide an educational environment that lacks the confidence and skills to incorporate technology as an integral part in learning.  The focus is to develop our students’ learning capacity with problem solving skills, global awareness, and media and information literacy.  Our end result shall be a competent and computer savvy generation of students equipped for the technology of tomorrow.

Mission Statement

To effectively integrate technology across all content areas so that our students are prepared for all technological advances of the 21st Century. In order to accomplish this mission, we need to keep our teachers not only well trained on the use of equipment and the integration of technology, but also maintained current on updates and any new other technology that might prove useful in the classroom.

Oscar Castillo

To encourage the support and development of effective technology integration in the classroom, thereby educating and preparing productive, global citizens of the 21st century. To accomplish this mission, it is strategically imperative to collaborate, create, and maintain social connections with teachers, administrators, and the community to meet the rigorous challenges of a fast-changing technological society.

Mission Statement

Gabriela Pena

Our teachers will shape the learning of students and teach at a technological level comparable to the exponential world we live in and break through any economic disadvantage and any language barrier, including a digital language barrier. The teacher will create a digital classroom that will use critical thinking, problem solving, and self direction skills to teach computer functions, ethics, and sociology in a smart classroom full of self confident, multitasking, self reliant, visual learners.

James Higgs

All students from all cultural backgrounds and socio-economic status have the following educational technology rights:

to use and be taught with diverse technologies in the classroom which are aligned to their different learning styles and cognitive abilities,

technology integrated into the classroom so that divisions caused by societal preconceptions, economic status, place of birth, or living condition are reduced or eliminated,

technology which enables them to better access a curriculum designed to encourage the high level thinking skills and social interaction required of an educated person in the twenty-first century.

IntegratingTechnology

James Pace High School will respond to 21st century work-force demands by implementing  an educational program that shifts the emphasis from teacher-centered to student-centered authentic connected activities, whereby our students will construct knowledge.  Engaged leaders will be empowered through the creation of successful learning communities.  Through extensive professional development, Pace faculty will be trained in the art of technology integration into the curriculum in order to transform learners into a creative, collaborative, skilled, problem solving society.

Celinda Tanguma

As an MTT, we must take the educational community into the 21st century.  We must, effectively, guide our peers, students, administration, and community to successfully convert into a society of progressive technology.  We shall make this transformation together and continue integrating technology into our schools until it becomes second nature.

Elvia Silva

To implement a campus-wide initiative, Learning Transformation through Technology by mentoring campus educators, and administrators in order to promote effective curriculum facilitation of integrated technology that focuses on a student-centered learning rather than a teacher-centered learning approach. This initiative will focus primarily on a framework for 21st century teaching and learning that fuses 21st century student outcomes  such as critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, communication, leadership, and responsibility  with innovative support systems which will help students attain the multi-dimensional abilities required of them in the 21st century.

Daniela Guardiola

To equip teachers and students by providing the reliable and adequate technological resources in addition to the training necessary for them to be successful in the 21st century society by cultivating critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, ethics, social responsibility and collaboration.  Ensuring that technology becomes an integral part of teaching and learning will build the bridge necessary for teachers to provide in the classroom the richer, deeper, and personal information experiences that current students are used to.
