Hello, my name is Veronica Baca and this is hopefully, my final semester in the Educational Technology Program.  I am looking forward to the next stage of my career and am excited in using the tools that I have learned and used throughout the Masters' Program.  This semester will be a challenge but I know it will be exciting!  I am looking forward to working with my past peers and meeting my new peers....have fun all!

Howdy! My name is Linda Garza and I currently reside in San Marcos, Tx.  I am going on my eighth year in the education profession, seven years of those spent as a 5th grade teacher. This is my fourth year employed by Hays CISD, and my first year working as an Instructional Technologist. I am embarking on my final semester in the Educational Technology program.  The graduate studies experience has been a enriching one and it's difficult to believe that I've come to this point in the path.  Thus, I look forward to what awaits us throughout the semester.

My name is Kay Groves and this my last semester in the MTT program. I taught Business & IT in Oklahoma City for 7 years and moved to Texas about a year ago.  To obtain teaching certification in Texas I have to take the pedagogy,  business, & technology apps certification tests.  I took these in OKlahoma 10 years ago when I completed the preparation program. I SAY UNFAIR! I will be looking for a job this summer, so if you hear about anything in Arlington, let me know!

My name is Scott Amdahl. I was born and raised in Minnesota (go Vikings--sorry Cowboys fans), spent 9 years in the military, and arrived in the RGV as a Teach For America teacher in 1998. In my 10 years in the RGV I have taught 5th grade, HS Technology Applications, and served as the Technology Director for IDEA Academy for 4 years. I am currently the Instructional Technology Coordinator for Weslaco ISD.

Hello, my name is Roy (Rogelio) Ramos. This will be my fourth year teaching middle school math at Donna ISD. I am looking forward to taking the last two MTT courses and hopefully starting the Masters program. The goal is to finish the MTT program and get an instructional technology job. Hello, my name is Liza Moreno. This is my fifth semester in the Master's in Educational Technology program, and my last semester in the MTT program. I am a middle school Language Arts teacher for United Independent School District in Laredo, Texas. My teaching certifications include Bilingual Generalist (4-8) and Technology Applications (8-12). I plan to finish my degree this summer and obtain a position as a technology trainer with my current school district. Technology trainer positions are very competitive in Laredo, so wish me luck. I need all the good energy I can get!

Hi, My name is Miguel Molina. I dont really know which is this semester for my MTT or Master program, I only know that I only need four more courses including the two that I am taking this semester to complete both. I am currently working in a new project under the Brownsville Independent School District. I have the privilege to teach the BCIS I course to the students at the Brownsville Early College High School and been the Technology Support Teacher too. I am looking foward to work with all of you and if I can serve of any help to any of you please letme know and if I dont know the answers I promise to try to get a solution for you. I like to be challenge :-).

Ps. I dont really have a picture by myself. I really think that the only good think in this picture is my daughter.

Hello all, my name is Marco A. Gonzalez and I am currently on the "last leg" of my studies.  This is going to be a very busy semester for me.  I am enrolled in two courses and am involved in various other projects as well.  I am currently employed by the Brownsville Independent School District as a math teacher at Simon Rivera High School.  I am looking forward to collaborating with all of you in this course.

By the way, the little one in the pic is the latest addition to my already blessed family.  I wanted to name him "Pythagoras Euclid" after two of my favorite mathematicians but my girls and my wife outnumbered me and my suggestion.  Instead, they favored "Marco Jr."

Hello everyone!!

My name is Lori Ann Martinez, I am a pre-kindergarten teacher at M.Rivas Elementary for Donna ISD. This is my 9th year teaching pre-kindergarten and loving every moment.  I love to see my students facial expression when we use the smart board in my classroom.  I am married to a wonderful man and have two daughters a 16 year old named Amanda and Lauryn who will turn 3 on Feb. 13. I am currently pursuing my MTT certification and hope to start my Master in Educational Technology.

I finally got my "round tuit" and am introducing myself here.  I am Armando Arechiga, and I am teaching at Lloyd and Dolly Bentsen in the Sharyland district.  I am a fifth grade reading, grammar and social studies teacher. I have always been fascinated by technology and see it as a central role in the future of education.  I am interested in the MTT program because I believe this is an opportunity to redefine the role of Instructional Technologist and really take a leadership position on campus and in the district.
