Go to http://twitter.com/

Click on Get Started-Join:

Fill out signup page and click on Create my account:

Chose to upload contacts from other email servers (if you want to).

Click on Finish

Go forth and twitter.

Other things to do:

Set up your profile and tell us about you (Profile).

Share your username with others.

Change the interface (Settings) and background.

Find People (Find People).
