Hello everyone, my name is Patrick Moseley.  I have been teaching mathematics at Odessa High School for seven years.  I love the idea of using technology in my classroom, and I currently use several technological components in my lessons.  Also, I have been married for 9 wonderful years and together we have two beautiful girls ages 3 and 6.  I wish everyone the best of luck this summer in all of your coursework and projects.

Hello, my name is Christie Rickert.  I have been in the Education field for 12 years now and am currently the Distance Learning Specialist at Hays CISD.  One of my biggest projects is coordinating our virtual high school program, and this summer I have 300 students enrolled! Between this, my two graduate classes, and spending time with my husband and two little girls (3 and 8) I expect that I wil be one busy lady! I look forward to learning with you.  Take Care, Christie

Hi! I'm Diana Cedillo and am proud to say I completed my first year at the middle school level. Whoo hoo! I previously switched from the elementary level after seven years to coach girls' soccer and track. I was the Web Master for three years and Computer Technologist for two at my previous school. I am pretty familiar with wikis, just a little rusty. I look forward to incorporating more technology into the classroom and anxiously await the arrival of my very own IPAD 2! My husband and I will be celebrating our four year wedding anniversary this week and we have a two year-old energetic bundle of joy. Life is great! Good luck and hope to hear from ya'll soon! - Diana C.

Hola a todos. My name is Maria Salinas Garcia, but you can call me Mary. I was born in Chicago to Mexican parents on the search for the American dream. By the time I was one my family moved to the valley and I've been here ever since. I am a Pre-Kinder teacher at the time, but have taught 2nd and 3rd grade. I have an awesome supporting family who I love dearly. I graduated from UTB in 2004 with a BA in Spanish. It took about 6 years to finally come back. I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Elementary Math and Science. So my focus is not on technology, but I am familiar with wikis and may need a lot of help. Good luck and I look forward to working with you! :)Mary

Hello!  My name is Sharon Dressel, and I have been an elementary school librarian for the past six years (total years in education: 19!).  As a librarian in a technology-rich district (Irving ISD), I use technology in my lessons, but I need to step up my game and broaden my skill set.  Glancing over this course, I see several apps I recognize, but I don't have the depth of familiarity and ease I need.  I look forward to the challenges I will encounter in this course!  :-) Sharon

P.S. This Texas Transplant says: Geaux Saints!!!!

Hello everyone! My name is Raquel Rico. I am an instructor for the Dental Hygiene Program at Texas State Technical College. I have been teaching there for more than four years and I really enjoy my job. Before teaching I had been a dental hygienist for over ten years and although I do miss working in a dental office and providing dental treatment for the patients, I am truly enjoying the other side of it, the teaching side. My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary this year and we have three children ages 24, 16, and 8. I wish everyone the best of luck this semester.

Hi everyone! My name is Jennifer Henson. I've been in the educational publishing business for 20 years. Technology has always been my favorite vehicle for communicating with students, and I've been fortunate to help coordinate some killer programs for major and minor textbook publishers in the U.S. and abroad. I've always come to it from an editorial standpoint, so I create or edit text and work with others to get it properly designed, programmed, and published. I've got a lot to learn about actually creating technology myself! Most of my time has been spent creating middle school science products, though I've also worked on elementary to college materials for a range of subjects. The iPad has recently knocked my socks off, and I've done a little work helping teachers get that technology implemented in their classrooms. I'd like to do more of that as well as create new products using the latest super-cool technologies. I live in Austin with my terrific husband and 16-year-old stepson, and look forward to getting to know you all.
Hi everyone, my name is Jose Correa. I am the Network Administrator at San Benito CISD. It is my responsibility to design, maintain and implement new network infrastructure. I enjoy working with technology and new gadgets. I have two wonderful kids, a 5yr old daughter and a 2yr old son. I look forward to a great learning Summer session.
