My name is Juana Martinez. I am a second grade teacher at Munoz Elementary with Donna ISD. I am the last one on the right. I teach math, science and social studies. In the summer I attended the TRC Math and Science Collaborative Conference representing Region One Math Collaborative. We won first place with our math display. I joined the MTT program so I can learn to create technology lessons to implement in my classroom. I am excited!!!

My name is Rene Lugo, I currently live in Rancho Viejo and I own Alexis Insurance Group located in Olmito Texas. I have been an insurance agent for about 15 years and I was a mortgage broker for about 5. After the mortgage meltdown, with a whole bunch of time in my hands, I decided to go back to school. I finished my bachelor degree in Education and once there I learned about the Master degree on Technology and I decided to pursue that. It has been a very drastic change for me but I have been able to overcome most of the obstacles, one advice for everybody is; when you are feeling frustrated and feeling like nothing makes sense and you feel like giving up, don't, because most of us probably are feeling the same way, things work out and before you know it, the class is over and you did pretty good. Hi, I'm Veronica Zamarron, and this is one of my first two EDTC courses. I'm really excited about learning about technology in the classroom. Currently I'm a sub teacher in HCISD, but have over 27 years of experience. I want to incorporate technology into my lessons, to provide other venues of learning for students. I'm looking forward to this semester!

My name is April and I am a Spanish reading and writing teacher for second grade at Adame Elementary. I also teach Social Studies and am loving it all so much. This is my second year teaching and am inspired everyday to wake-up and give it all I got to help my students be successful in their lives then and now. My name is Claudia Marquez I am a Kindergarten teacher. Even though this is my 5th year teaching early child hood I will like to explore int he upper grade level. I love spending time with my family and organizing cook outs to enjoy some well done fajitas.

My name is Angelica Navarro-Guerrero. I am a 5th grade Reading teacher at Stainke Elementary. I am on my 8th year of teaching. My first six years, I taught Pre-Kinder and I absolutely loved it. Last year was my first year teaching 3rd grade and this is my first year in fifth grade. I have really enjoyed working with the older children in 3rd and 5th grade.

On my spare time, I love spending time with my family. My family and I see each other at least every other day during the week and are together every weekend.

Dora Robles

Hi, my name is Dora Robles. I am employed at LFISD. I was a teacher aide from 2001-2005, became a teacher 2005 and have been teaching ever since. I have taught third grade for two years and I'm going into my fifth year teaching first grade. I want to use technology in the classroom to capture the students attention and create those connections they need to be successful. I have a wonderful family (my husband, 16year old son, 7 year old daughter and 4 year old daughter)that is supporting me as I continue to obtain my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Elementary Science. I had the great opportunity of taking classes with Dr. Ramirez, through the MSTTPA program. I look forward to working with you all. :)

I work at the Writing Center at San Antonio College and am pursuing a Master's in Educational Technology. I'm very interested in the potential of new technologies (mainly but not exclusively web based) to disseminate knowledge and improve lives.

My background is in graphics, not education, maybe one reason I'm interested in designing smoother and more intuitive human-machine interfaces -I feel the student should spend more time learning than trying to figure out how the software works.

I live in SA with my wife, Beth, and various woofers and meowers. I enjoy reading, bicycling, amateur astronomy, and kites.
